Octavio Irving Hernández Jiménez 

The visual artist Octavio Irving Hernández Jiménez holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro in 2000 and from the Higher Institute of Art in Havana in 2006. Currently, he serves as the director of the Experimental Graphic Workshop of Havana (TEGH) and also holds the position of Vice President of the executive board of the Association of Plastic Arts of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba. Additionally, he is the President of the printmaking section of the same association (Association of Plastic Arts of the UNEAC) and works as a printmaking professor at the San Alejandro and ISA art academies.

He is a member of artistic institutions such as the Experimental Graphic Workshop of Havana and the UNEAC. In May 2007, he was awarded the Grand Prize in printmaking "La joven estampa" by Casa de las Américas.

His works are part of various private collections in countries such as Spain, Italy, Germany, Norway, Belgium, Sweden, England, Mexico, the United States, Canada, Venezuela, Chile, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Brazil, the Basque Country, and Japan, among others.

His artworks are included in the collections of numerous cultural institutions, museums, and universities in Cuba, such as Casa de las Américas (Havana), National Council of Plastic Arts, Iberostar Hotels chain (Varadero), Higher Institute of Art (Havana), Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro (Havana), Experimental Graphic Workshop of Havana, galleries network of the Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets, Santa Clara Governor's House (Villa Clara, Cuba), and Hotel Habana Libre. They are also present in institutions abroad, like Ateneo de Cáceres (Spain), Hotel Alba Caracas (Venezuela), and Museum of Print and Design (Caracas, Venezuela).
